![]() ![]() You can also just install the trackpad driver in the Drivers folder. ![]() Then save the MSI and it will install all the updated drivers and utilities. Just right click those two entries and pick "Drop row". You'll see there are two entries that prevent installation - one limits it to certain Mac models the other limits it to certain OS versions. It looks like Touchpad++ doesn't support 32 bit any longer, and it did not support my old MacBook.įor me the method that worked best was to download the BootCamp 4.0 set from Apple as it is the last 32 bit version:Īlthough you might expect an MSI to be complicated to edit, it looks more like a spreadsheet. I'm still not sure how to control the direction of scrolling in Windows but not too worried about it since it works the now mac normal way under VM ware which I use more often than boot camp anyway. I might have been able to skip some of those steps by choosing the "Apple Multitouch" instead of USB the first time around. Reboot and the trackpad works completely including right-clicks.If there are more than 1 or 2 "USB Input Device"s, you can find the one or two Apple ones (not labeled as Apple) by looking at the "Events" tab in the device driver and looking for installs of today. Reboot then repeat all the above steps but choose "Apple Multitouch Mouse" or "Apple Multitouch" instead of USB for the last step.Note: After reboot, right clicking with two fingers and other Apple gestures don't work plus the movement is rather jerky. If there are two devices with warnings, repeat the above steps for the other one too ![]()
